Poetry Art
The best partnerships often seem to be born from a mix of magic and synchronicity . . . people with unique talents and a shared vision coming together at the right time in the right place—for the right purpose.
My work with artist Cher Odum began as a friendship and flowered into a creative partnership combining Cher’s colorful and inspirational images and my words in the form of “Poetry Art” that consists of full-sized poster art and our one-of-a-kind, all-occasion greeting cards, including the “Happy Gays,” line created specifically for gay men and lesbians.
This collaborative work blends beautiful images with affirming messages of hope and joy and possibility. Purchase them as gifts—or frame them and display them for the works of art that they truly are.
Cher Odum’s art is based on the belief that we are all beautiful beings, if only we could really see our being-ness. Her distinctive and colorful images are designed to convey a breaking out of our boxes and a sense of being-ness that is too large to be contained. Her paintings show us the beauty of our free spirits–larger than life–and affirm the truth that anything is possible if only we believe it.

Dan Stone has been playing with the magic of words since he first learned his ABC’s. His books, poems, stories, essays, and verses remind us of the power of language to illuminate, inspire, and empower us to remember who we are and to give life to our dreams.

Hi Dan!
Warm greetings from Sydney, Australia!
Your “happy gays” card art image posted by Nina Ferrell on Facebook caught my eye this morning. I’ve also enjoyed checking out your shower channel writing… love it, couldn’t agree more!
Wishing you ever more ease & joy from a free, gay & happy Esther Hicks fan,
John
